Story Gliders isn't a static library — every session uses real AI services that have ongoing per-use costs. Each child generates their own stories, illustrations, speech assessments, and quizzes, so the more children on your account, the more AI we run. The additional child pricing helps us cover those costs while keeping the price as fair as possible.

- Why is there a per-child cost?
- Every child on your account generates their own unique stories, illustrations, speech assessments, and quizzes — all powered by AI services that charge us per use. The per-child pricing means you only pay for what your family actually uses, and it keeps the base price low for smaller families.
- Is there a free trial?
- We’re currently in early access. Reach out and we’ll get you set up — no credit card required to start.
- Can I cancel at any time?
- Yes. There are no contracts or lock-in periods. Cancel whenever you like and you’ll keep access until the end of your billing period.
- What happens to our stories if we cancel?
- Your stories, characters, places, and reading progress stay in your account. If you resubscribe, everything will be right where you left it.
- Can I add or remove children later?
- Yes. Add a new child profile whenever you like and your billing adjusts automatically. If you remove a profile, the change takes effect at your next billing cycle.
- Do you offer school or educator pricing?
- We’d love to work with schools. Get in touch at support@storygliders.com and we’ll put something together.
- Is my child’s data safe?
- Absolutely. Children’s names are pseudonymised and encrypted, real names never reach AI providers, and we don’t store voice recordings. See our Security and Privacy pages for the full picture.
